I have just left my job and got my last pay cheque today. My last shift was last Saturday. I get paid every four weeks. There was one weeks pay missing and they said it was because I haven't worked this week, but as far as I know, I was working a week in a hand. If I was going to be paid for this weekm why would they pay me today for a shift I would be doing this Saturday? I worked in a co-op supermarket. Does anyone know if I should have been paid for last week and the three weeks before that, or is my employer telling the truth and I should only have recieved three weeks pay? There is no mention in my contract of what weeks I get paid for, just every four weeks.
Thanks.

I don;t know about working a week in hand, it's unusual to work one week in hand for 4 weekly pay. How long have you been there, can you remember when you started if you worked a week in hand or not?
