Because women have a terrible habit of trying on every outfit they own, then finally settling on the very outfit they tried on first. Everything else is left strewn across the bed, because they've taken so long finding something to wear, they are running late and haven't got time to hang clothes back up...

i've only taken about half my wardrobe for a week away, that's not bad......

I don't. i'm a bit blokey like that. The only thing I insist on is either my hot brush or straighteners but preferably both. Otherwise It's the basics....

I can pack for 14 days in a small sports bag.... and most of that is novels and teabags

Because we have to cater for the weather, the evening out, potential crumpet, the morning after, are we walking, dancing driving. nightwear, underwear, coat jacket cardi? Got the t-shirt KOM

Gotta agree with rowan - most of my luggage would be non-clothing, as in books and toiletries.....

I learnt early on that I tended to wear the same things on rotation.....the rest wasn't used.

I dont, I have learnt from yeas ago that I never wear it all, and my first girly holiday abroad my luggage was left in england, so I dont take much now. In fact the last holiday I went on my suitcase was as big as my mates hand luggage

I don't! I travel light. I can pack enough camping equipment for two people, my hiking gear, fishing gear, painting equipment and enough clothes for a fortnight into a two seater convertible.
