A moderation of Tomato Ketchup? Is this a collective noun? More like Monty Python talk.

och beejay you know me so well (thought you would've said bucky lol) could murder onion rings...

mike11111111 hamsters???

Hi jenna1978, yeah I think we're divided on the whole tomato sauce/salad cream debate here. It's whatever you like.

JudgeNutmeg, an outsider is the ends of the loaf of bread. We have 'plain' bread here and its dead thick and has crusts, it's the best for a chip butty ;)
If you've seen me with the TK, mike, there's no such thing as moderation. If I can see a chip then I've been liberal with the bottle!!!!!
You shouldn't eat hamsters. There is fluff all to them. Next time a Guenie (sp?) Pig or Chinchilla
Need to see previous answers to get the hamster connection.

Only thing is that chips, bread and tomato sauce give me indigestion..
Judge Nutmeg

I myself have been known to be liberal with the bottle. Can't remember having chips with it though!
Just to refer back to the original question, why Anchor Butter? Sorry, but without wishing to advertise, it's either Lurpak slightly salted or nothing for me.

Hi mike1111111111 I must admit that I rarely eat butter these days, flora extra light but when I have a wee treat it's got to be anchor. I don't like salty stuff....
personally to start with i need the right spuds, new potatoes are usually ok, but dont quote me, i dont usually peel the spudz, just scrub em clean. slice em quite thickly. while doing this have the oil on the hob then when hot enuf, put in sliced spudz, then fry em to quite dark brown, put em on kitchen paper on a plate, to drain excess oil. have thick slices of crusty bread ready, copious ammounts of sea salt and vinegar. eat quickly while still hot, washed down with hot camomile tea. not too fussed about ketchup, as it wasnt something i had a lot off when i was a kid. brother likes fish and chip butties, not my cup of camomile
Best chips ever are Sainsbury's Taste the Difference chunky oven chips for those without friers - you need the oven really hot and they take about 30 minutes, but they are really, really good. I used to be a home fries girl, but I've been converted! Those chips with fresh white bread and butter and a touch of salt and either brown sauce or meat paste. Mmmmmmmmm.
