I currently use a prgram called HP Memories, which allows me to select which photos I want to put into the slideshow, then I can simply select a song from my hard drive, and it automatically adds it to the slideshow which I then burn to disc.Sound great doesn't it? the only problem I have is the poor resolution quality of the resulting slideshow. When I select one of my JPEGs so that it shows full screeno on my pc, the quality is very good, but when I play the slideshow from either my hard drive or from the disc, the quality is very poor compared to just openeing th JPEG.I have tried different burn speeds, different discs, but they are all the same.Does anyoneknow of any other simpe to usr program that does the same thing, but hopefully with better quality results.

As an alternative this link might offer an idea (no promises I have not used it), but it is freeware!

Once you have put the slideshow together put it on CD using your regular burning program
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the answer Guy9663, I will give this software a try.I would be most surprised if it were my CPU or RAM as my laptop is only 3 months old,and more than meets the requirements of the HP software.I am fairly sure it is the HP software that is the problem because when I just burn a JPEG to disc using Nero, the quality is fine.
Theren_911.Thanks for your answer. To be honest I dont really know if the JPEGs get compressed.I just put disc in the drive, select the JPEGs and music I want, and the software does the rest.It does not even use any of the 2 burning (NERO & NTI) software that I have installed. The HP program came with my printer and is only a few months old.
Hey! I think you can try Photo MovieTheater. It is a good slideshow creator software.
using that, you can add background music, caption, illustration, effect, transition, etc.
Of course, you can put the slideshow on CD, DVD. and you can enjoy it on TV.
More than that, Photo MovieTheater support HD output. It allows you to have a
new experience in HD slideshow.
Have a look!
