Won the Ivor Novello award for best album 'Sunny Side Up'.today.

He's a wee genius and im pig sick that I didnt make it to his concert in Dundee on 13 Oct last year cos I was stuck in Yorkshire grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!

Got' Pencil full of lead' as my ring tone and I just dont bother answering the phone until the last minute :)

Nice one whickerman -have to agree.He released his first album at 19 and I love that one as well but this one is so diverse in musical style for someone his age-its a keeper !

Paolo is brilliant. He writes his own stuff, has a wide range of musical styles and is very much in control.
We love him in our house.

I wouldnt have had him down as bland have to say.I think his style is mature and quirky for a then 21/22yr old writing the album.
Cant take his achievement away from him tho.

I like Paolo and think the album is a good easy listening Cd but i do find it hard to watch him perform live as he looks so awkward and uncomfortable on stage, im sure he isnt it just looks that way!
What i find more disturbing is that Lily Allen won three IN awards?! Crikey !

I think he is brilliant and I think I must be wearing the album out. I just love it, and him. How anyone can find him bland is beyond me. Jack Johnson yes, but not Nutini.
