Soreness in one breast
5 Answers
I have had soreness/tenderness in one breast for a couple of months now. I went to the doctor a few weeks ago and he couldn't feel any lumps, but equally he didn't offer any suggestions as to what it could be. I'm probably going to go back to get a second opinion, but just wondered what it could possibly be? I have no other symtoms, I am 29 and haven't breastfed for over a year. TIA

I'd been having the same symptoms for more or less the same time as you have & saw my gp two weeks ago for an examination.
Thankfully, she told me she couldn't feel any lumps in my breast or under my arm, but recommended I start taking Evening Primrose Oil capsules to help alleviate the discomfort, which I have. I must admit, it does seem to have helped, coincidence maybe, but it has.
If the second opinion is the same as the first, maybe you could try Evening Primrose Oil capsules too -you never know......
Good luck.

Hi MB.
I asked the same question only 2 months ago! Again GP found nothing and within a few weeks again (so about 2 months overall) the pain had gone. It does come back from time to time, but it was agony when i went to GP. I have now noticed its worse in the run up to my period
Hope your pain is nothing untoward and passes soon.
