Unfortunately that link seems to be behind a paywall. However, I think Barrymore's sexuality is no business of anyone's except him and his partner.
Moreover, if he had been a lorry-driver, supermarket manager or groundsman, then there would have been no questions asked about his returning to his job. So why do people have problems with him returning to the screen?
