Yep, he needs to go to the Vet's in Xátiva at 10am for his jab or whatever it is he requires and then I'll head towards Barcelona and up to Perpignan... that way.

It depends on what the vet is prepared to do for me. I need her to fudge the date by 24 hours to give me enough time to get back to the UK.

Yes, Lard. I've just bagged a nice barn conversion today which I'll be renting for 6 months when I get back. It's in the country but only about 4 miles from the Motorway, so it's ideal.

Fruit... have you decided what you're going to do about a holiday?

It's about 18 hours in all, Bobs... then a drive from Folkstone to, I guess, Hereford for one night.

No CDs but I will have a stinky bum on legs for company. I'll have to stop every couple of hours for cafe au lait ! lol

I did this journey 4 years ago, so I know pretty much what to expect. I've also driven from here to Andorra, so I'll be ok.

The 15 year wait, that's been suggested above, might be rather short.

Many volcanoes erupt for far longer than that. Stromboli, for instance, has been in continual eruption for over 20,000 years. So you might have a VERY long wait for your holiday!

well i've now rebooked this long awaited holiday, and am off to kos never been before so dont really know what to expect but its a holiday and thats all that matters.
