I have had the laptop formatted and windows xp updated

Now I can't get it to automatically take the photos off my phone when I plug the USB lead in, a box used to come up asking me to select a programme to use with the photos, and the one i picked had a camcorber icon on it, but that box won;t open and infact the device is not recognised even though the wire is pl;ugged in and the phoen charges whilst in the USB, plus i have put all the files from the sansung disc back. Any ideas please?

Was it a Dell laptop, Dot?
You had an icon in system tray, which is a monitoring device for a program called Exif Viewer?
Most camcorders will need their own usb driver installed. You done that? Should be a disc with the camera, usually.
Exif is a program that may be on a Dell re-install disc or Drivers CD.
Check those first and come back. : )

Sorry .. now seen the Samsung driver files you mentioned.
Maybe it was Samsung software .. I think Exif Viewer, tho.
