Barcelona trip

I am trying to organise a trip to Barcelona city centre on a cheap budget. We want to go during half term time in October for my 18th birthday. We only want to go for a long weekend/ 5 days. Does anyone know where i can find any hostels within the city centre and possibly a cheap no frill flight from East Midlands to Girona??
