Clumber Park is very quaint.
Only live about 5 miles from there, and walk Max there 2-3 times in a month, normally early in the morning before they get too many people about. The only thing I've got against it is that they've "tamed" it a bit too much. We used to go fishing there when I was a kid and the rhododendrens were all round the lake right down to the edge and looked fantstic when they were in flower. I know they have to try and cater for the majority but sometimes I think they go too far, it was an ideal place for kids to play in the days before computers and play stations the modern kids don't know what they're missing
