I stood on a slug in the garden. That's definitely not nice, because I rarely wear shoes, and it squishes between your toes.

Substitute hand for foot. Many years ago I fell asleep at a party and woke at about 5.00 a.m. bursting for a pee. It was impossible to get up the stairs to the toilet as there were people crashed out on the stairs and landing so I took myself out into the garden to relieve myself. Halfway down the lawn I felt something soft and warm coming through my bare toes...........it was dog sh1t.

Craft..that happened to me a few years back with the dog..I got up in the middle of the night and wandered into the bathroom and felt something wet and cold on my foot...My "lovely" dog went for a sh*t on the mat ..I nearly got sick!!
