Are you into 'Dwile Flonking'

'Dwile Flonking' traditionally involves players using a pole to hurl beer-soaked cloths at opponents then downing beer quickly as a penalty for missing.
Not being from Norfolk it's a new one for me as apparently the Local Council has banned it at the 'Dog Inn' at Ludham as it encourages Binge drinking !
Anyone here thinking of participating......I'll give it a miss as it's a waste of good Beer ! lol

Sounds suspicious to me!! Bit like the 'spile troshing' in the Archer's (on the radio) a few years ago, when the locals were trying to come up 'Old traditional' customs for a summer fayre!!

same as stag and hen do´s, if everybody enjoys themselves and things dont get out of hand, its a harmless fun. the problem is you know that theres always that minority that have to go overboard, eg get legless and lose it.
