Is anyone else being inundated with letters offering them prizes if they ring a premium rate number or send off some money to PO Box 107. I've ignored several FINAL REMINDERS but they still keep coming
A quick Google search throws up details of the scam.
It is a scam isn't it? Has anyone ever got anything of value for their money?
Some people must pay up for it to be worthwhile for them.
of course its a scam, dont for heavens sake ring their premium line number it will cost u megabucks. Suggest you get in touch with your nearest Office of Fair Trading and ask for their help or keep writing DECEASED across the envelope and return ro sender.
Thanks ABerrant.
That link made me wonder .... what happended to kempie- he was a regular and respected poster on AB in 2008. Has he got another name on AB now or has he left the site?
Yes, after a while the letters started offering the option to send off some stamps rather than ring the premium rate number, but I read somewhere that all they then send you is a letter saying send off around £15 to get a camera supposedly worth over £100 which turns out to be almost worthless
