Anyone who sees these photographs of these two lovely children, cannot imagine what made the Mother take their young lives.

OK her husband was accused of being a paedophile, and for some reason she decided to support him, the question must be asked was she also implemented?

Was it for this reason that she was scared her two children would be taken from her?

Whatever the reasons, why did these two lovely little tots have to die?

Surely if she thought so much about them, it would have been better for the children to live, no matter what happened to herself and her husband?

Obviously she committed the acts when 'the balance of her mind was disturbed' ( I think that's the correct legal phrase). You therefore cannot apply any rational reasoning as to her actions.

It is tragic those children have died but I wonder what it would be like growing up knowing your father is a paedophile. How would they be treated by others throughout their lives?

I expect as adults they would be constantly questioning their behaviour around children - whether an action or word is appropriate. Very sad.

I can't believe it when something like this happens. Most mothers would rather die than let any harm come to their children, if she had taken her own life I could have understood it slightly more, but to kill those gorgeous children-that was so, so wrong.

I find it difficult to understand how any parent could kill their children. They were innocent and surely them being taken away would be better than their deaths.

Yes you have been most helpful to me in the past, that is why when you come onto news you seem a different person altogether.

Why do you act in this way?

We can all disagree with each other on News but why go out of one's way to be confrontational?

A mother frightened of harm and losing her children, little support it seems other than SS threats of removing them from her. She was pushed to this drastic end....she wanted to die with them. I sympathise with that and feel for her & her loss.

SS isn't working adequately....they need to recruit grannies instead of young single ppl.
