ipod problems and how to fix them
5 Answers
The problems I am having with my ipod classic are all my fault and I need help quick.I have over 12,000 songs on my ipod but I can't delete some of the songs I no longer want. The problem is when I downloaded all my songs through itunes I immediately deleted them from the itunes library and my computer.I was advised to download another tool to transfer all my tunes from my ipod back to itunes which worked fine but they still won't delete from my ipod.Do I have to transfer all my tunes to itunes rather than just the songs I don't want?At the minute my ipod won't sync with itunes. Also because I tried to delete these songs all my album covers are mixedup. Can someone out there please help me before I throw tis ipod away in frustration?

Have you tried resetting your iPod manually?, if my memory is correct, you slide the hold button on and off 3 times and then hold the center button and bottom wheel button until the creen goes off and then the Apple logo will appear and you can let go, it then should reset itself. You may then be able to sync with iTunes. Otherwise i would pull all your music off to your desktop using Senuti, and then re format your iPod.
hope you have some luck with it

You may try this ipod transfer, it's a nice iTunes alternative that can help you manage iPod files including delete, upload, play, copy, etc. It's much easier to use than iTunes. It can also help you manage multiple iPods on one computer or manage iPod on multiple computers, even copy music and video from iPod back to computer or iTunes. My friends recommend it to me, it works pretty well.
