I just haven't been able to get motivated at all - I shall blame it on the weather!

Yes, please do. I am just the same today. Loads to do and can't get going. I shall be rushing around very shortly before Mr LL comes home. Not that he complains but I feel guilty when he has been at work all day!!

Same here Lottie. I feel guilty now that I'm semi-retired (that's what I like to call it). I have just phoned Mr. S to tell him that I haven't done very much today, but he never minds if I'm having a 'slow' day. I do make up for it when I do get going in the home & garden tho'! ;o}

When I think of how I used to go out to work & juggle so many balls in the air....how ever did I do it?!!
I feel lazy most of the time. I have plenty of motivation - it's just that I enjoy laziness a lot of the time if I can get away with it.

I do more gardening in the summer. I cycle in the summer. I avoid housework unless people are coming round.
Yes, I make up for it well on my good days. I had a good day, well a good afternoon yesterday and did lots of gardening and the cooked us a roast amongst other things. Today I have done..................................... nothing. Well I am now off for a swift clear up and a bath to warm up! What a miserable day weather wise. AB is always good to while away the time.

See you another day. I am off out tomorrow!
My OH never comments on what I've done during the day. The only thing that concerns him is food....
i have been guilty of clock watching today.
Housework Salla, what's that. Apart from the essentials necessary for hygiene, like clean sinks and loos, and a quick hoover because of pet fur, it's a waste of time. Sometimes I resent visitors, I have to dust!
.
I like housework. I just don't like putting away other peoples crap.
I know lottie. It's awful of me to admit that one advantage of my mother's ailing deteriorating vision is that she can't inspect my skirtings or windows anymore, and can't see cobwebs....
if your mother in law is any thing like mine SB she can smell cobwebs

Phew - whizzed around with the hoover downstairs, put some buttered chicken breasts & shallots in the oven, sliced some carrots & cabbage, washed two large jackets spuds & pricked ready to microwave, then took them out, crossed & opened the tops, adding a little Olivio & placed in oven. Mr S walked in & said " Ooo, I smell din dins"!

I wouldn't mind, but the place doesn't get that bad if we haven't had company here & we were out most of the weekend anyway!

All's well that ends well! ♥

Let's hope it's a better day tomorrow weather wise, only I'm supposed to be going swimming with daughers & children. (Altho' I can feel a sore throat brewing, so have just had some hot fresh lemon)!

Have a lovely evening all. ♥
