The main thing they are going to ask you is; WHY do you want to be a midwife? They'll ask about any experience you've had, why you think you'll be a good midwife, what hopes and aspirations you have regarding your career. My interviewer asked me to discuss something I'd seen in the media recently regarding the NHS- at the time of me applying it was the job shortage for nurses, so he just asked how I felt about that and what I'd do if I couldn't find a job on qualifying.
Good luck!

Quick check with midwife friend...
What is your understanding of the term autonomous practitioner or something about extended roles is a possibility
Current trends in healthcare and the potential impact on the midwifery service
WHy did you choose the midwifery branch rather than the other branches
something multicultural probably a scenario... hers was about a moslem patient refusing to be seen by male members of staff and no female obstetrician being available, they won't expect you to know the ins and outs but they will be interested in your approach,
What support measures have you considered ie impact on existing relationships etc what do you do to de -stress (tell them you do some sort of exercise it is usually the high points answer)
Good luck
