Microsoft Word is part of Microsoft Office, which contains other components such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.

So which one should I use? Really want to use it for making a CV.
Hmm - I'm clearly not explaining myself clearly enough.

Microsoft Word is a word processing programme. It exists as a stand-alone product or as part of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.

No matter which you have, you would still use Word for making a CV...
what versions of each have you got? and are they a full licensed copy with a license key number, or just trial versions?
Question Author
Got fully licensed versions of both with product keys.
Flog one on eBay ?
(The management wishes to point out that other tat bazaars do exist.)
I always thought Word is part of Office and can not be installed separately. BUT if you have a Word disc, then use that...I mean install that CD and use it for creating your CV.
