If a friend has died in the UK and we don’t want certain people present at their funeral, can we request the records be private?

Also, if someone dies in the UK, what are the laws on a burial or cremation abroad?

Thanks

It could be easier and cheeper to have her cremated here and then go and scatter her ashes wherever she would have wanted.

The money saved on taking a body out for cremation may, in theory, pay for a small gathering to go and have a small family farewell!!!
