i neeeeeeeed to stop my period before it starts (around 11th/12th)
i am on the pill
BUT i do have the pill here that i used to use...
if i start taking it now will it stop it? Or will it bring it on early ? or anything??

Go see your GP, she will give you something to stop your period.

Yes - the doctor can give you a pill that will stop your periods - take 3 days before you're due to start and carry on taking it until you don't need to anymore... I've done it for holiday's etc, and it's never been a problem...

yay! i am SOOO happy right now! Do you think you can buy it over the counter? Only because it takes forever to get an appointment unless you phone for an emergency one which i feel a bit uncomfortable doing as other people need them who are sick!

I wouldn't have thought you can get it over the counter - you could always ask the pharmasist (sp?) - or call the surgery and ask to speak to a nurse.. she might be able to get you a prescription without seeing a doctor (if you've not had any detremental health issues in the past) - worth a try... I'm planning on seeing the Gp as I'm due a period at Glastonbury. My periods...thank God....only last a day. But still....with washing facilities as they are...I still don't want that day.
