It is in my memory, safe and unpolluted.
Sadly full of middle-class caravan thugs now - hence I dare not name it.
But it was beautiful andundiscovered then.
I'm getting all proustian.....
Mine is in Jamaica and is called Long Bay.

It is unspoilt and no tourists at all. The sand is white, sea really blue and there is a bar made from bamboo on the beach.

Pure paradise.
Menton, South of france!

First time abroad in the 70's, and floating on my air bed in the lovely warm sea.
"Fond memories)
JoggerJayne is that you lying there...
Black Rock Beach, Brighton
Despite local authorities objecting to the "flagrant exhibition of mammary glands", nudists have been coming to this shingle and pebble beach since the 1980s. Those who dare-to-bare face an unrestricted - and, at times, unsavoury - audience.
Cromer. Happy memories of typically British family holidYs in the late
60s early 70s.
This is one of mine:

Deep Bay Antigua
Here's me, in a silly hat, on that very beach :-)

My cousin lives in Menton, never been there but that's possibly my nudge to visit Pusskins.
Oh nuts!
I've several - not for the gloriousness necessarily, but for the happy memories:

Langland Bay near Swansea, where we spent nearly all our childhood holidays
The pebbly beach at Brighton which I love
The equally pebbly beach here in the harbour in Dover, where there is always so much going on
Castell d'Arenall in Menorca
Cariehuela outside Torremolinos, lovely in February before the tourists arrive
Kerkennah - the almost uninhabited islands off Sfax in Tunisia
Pria d'Ouro on the Algarve
and a few others beside!
Sandwood Bay, 5 miles south east of Cape Wrath in Highlands of Scotland. So remote and unspoilt. 4 mile walk to get there but so worth it (or boat or helicopter)
No football on today Baggyman ........... snort!!
Cold turkey...err.."Builder"...Thousands of Baggies wondering about town centres ,from the end of April to the end of August, "shopping" and all that nonsense.....At least the World Cup can save us this year from the long Summer weeks of nothing to do!
Smugglers Cove in Tortola.....
