Hello,

Could anybody help? I have just moved into a new house and the previous owners had painted over perfectly good tiles in the shower area. Some of it is flaking off and i've tried to pick it off but it's going to take me years! How can i do it quickly and neatly without damaging the tiles underneath?

I think you would do it with a wallpaper steamer. Maybe you could borrow one if you don't have one yourself.  I used one a few years ago to remove artex from a wall with great results, a bit mucky but it worked a treat. Hope this helps.

Try using nitromors

Is nitromors a chemical that will take it off like nail varnish? Wont it just spread and smear about?

(Not being ungrateful for your help!! Just wondering!)
