I owed them �115 from last March, they switched it off in June last year and I have kept putting off sorting it out, anyway, I got a mail shot today when I got in from work, asking if I wanted to get it back on and that they would pay up to �50 off any bill outstanding, so i thought yeah, good deal. Anyway I rang up, (on the house phone cos at that time I couldn't just spot my mobile!) and the chap looked up my account and reminded me of the debt, and then said they would wipe it entirely! And I didn't even have to ask! Do you think he is an AB user and recognised the thread! Sky came on a half hour later, and he said he would also send me �40 of JJB vouchers, now that is a consumer friendly company! I am well impressed!
Nice work,I remember a few years ago one of the guys at work rang them and told them that he was going on a shorter working week due to a drop in demand for our products,a bit of a lie,but they gave him 3 months at half price which he gratefully accepted,the next day eveybody at work was trying it.
Read in the City pages last week that there is a strong possibility Sky may offer Sky Plus systems for free,only pay for installation some time next year,certainly hope so.
Oh I don't think I could drive one of those Skyplus things. I didn't try to scam them though they offered it to me, I wonder if they are perhaps not too busy just now?
Thought crossed my mind, but I have gone for the family package just to get Sky One and E4, so I can watch Lost a week ahead! My son says the football is on alot this winter, really I said, with that sinister sincerity that he has come to know and love.
I think he is actually the husband of the lady whose shoes you exchanged yesterday and is just readying himself for her return to you within another 3 months.
