Today I saw two girls in Sainsburys in their pyjamas, slippers and dressing gowns (pushing the obligatory pushchair of course)
When did the sloppy trend of not bothering to get dressed to go out begin? I know Tescos in St Mellons banned it. Hope it doesn`t take off!

Shame.
Lazy buggers - I wouldn't dare go out in publc without wearing proper clothing. I don't even go into my yard in P.J's
If what you're wearing is clean and not too revealing what's the problem if people do wear pj's when shopping?

Some of the fashion disasters I've seen in supermarkets have been far worse.............and that was just the Arsenal shirts
To me its just pure laziness
It may well be laziness, but it's probably because we associate nightwear with the bedroom that we frown when we see it worn outdoors

A bit like I personally associate sandals and flip flops with women and so it's alien to me when I see grown men wearing them.....it's just wrong
It's not laziness.....it's comfort. As long as you're covered up what's the big deal. I have PJ's that resemble clothes I wear.
I am comfortable in a pair of jeans and a shirt - I just don't feel the need to wear my nightware in public.
What's wrong with sandals if you're wearing a nice pair of dark socks at the same time?
i just see it as lazy - people can't even be bothered showering and dressing before going out the house. See it around where I live all the time - it is always females that I see. Often have taken time to do there hair and make up though so really does not make sense to me. I wonder do they just go to bed in these same jammies at night?
