Gaza
I'm sitting here watching the news, is anyone else feeling as bad as I am watching the soldiers having to move their own people out of their homes? Just saw a shot of a young soldier crying because of the things that they are being called. What a horrible situation for them

At least now Israel has woken up to this fact and is trying to rectify it, but of course the people won't go without a fight because they firmly believe it's their land full stop.
Well, it is, but I have mixed feelings for them. It's one thing to get very upset about giving up your home, it's another to get very upset because you have a deep, abiding hatred for those who will move in to take your place. This is the best hope they themselves have for peace, to give up the land which they occupy illegally. Of course the rest of the world believes the land is held illegally, for them it is the 'Promised Land.'
