I had googled but it said GAP was a British
company. I have now googled GUP and
that appears to be corrected.
It was not a joke I had never heard of the
chain before.

Hi All, I am afraid I will not win this crossword because SQUAREBEAR had put
the words 'of course its GUP' I put that and took myself out to post that crossword
with my others, its only now that I am back that I see that for some STUPID reason
he or she wrote that. I understood this is a site that you can ASK questions???
(some of the question I see, I can't believe it - but then no one knows everything
if we did, we would not need sites like this.
By the way poortony is FEMALE with 2 children 2 grandchildren and 2 greatgrand
children - so perhaps the brain like the eyesight is getting fuzzy.
Thanks to those who helped and I didn't heed ~ shall know better next time.

I am sorry that you ignored the three people who confirmed it as Gap before squarebear who was being flippant and not trying to ruin your entry.
You are slightly ahead of me as at the moment I have two children, and before the end of the year two grandchildren. When I get to the great grandchildren I will be very pleased if I can walk two miles to the post box! I will be pleased if I am still around to be honest.......

Yes I can and do enjoy walking, (not the quickest as you can imagine) but don't
enjoy the sore knees the next day ~ but I feel I have to keep going rather than
stiffening up.

My grandson Luca is 17 months old and lives in Chicago. Will see him at the end of the month when I go out there. The next one is due in October and I will let you know when he/she arrives. : o )
