You say that when on the My Profile>Edit user Details page the box is ticked that says "your avatar is currently active".

Is the tick on there already or have you ticked it? If you have ticked it you also need to go down to the bottom of teh page and press submit.

I am a bit puzzled though by your comment on one posting that you get a amessage on gravatar saying your email address is already in use. That suggests to me your new avatar has not been set up on Gravatar .

Carlton, If you really want to give up but do want an avatar, I suggest you get in touch with Ed and email your avatar to them. I believe they will be able to set it up for you.
