I find it very interesting that this story has been given such prominence after the Queens speech made no reference to the re legalisation of hunting. I understand that the current proposal is to have a free vote "at some point" on whether or not a motion should be brought forward, ie have a vote about whether to vote. What a convenient time to have a story about big nasty foxes rampaging into a bedroom attacking innocent children.
I too find the story a touch far fetched.....
so far as the fox/rabbit thing if the foxes consume the food source then in the absence of other food sources their population will decline and the rabbit population will recover. I would blame myxi on declining rabbit pops before I blamed foxes.
As far as a cull goes, what would be the point? If there continues to be food and shelter then there will continue to be foxes, as you kill the ones that are there,more will move in
