where to go - for a works do... within 2hrs of London

Dear all

We are looking to go away with work next Jan as a treat tot he staff (only 18 of us)
We were looking at Bruge.... but it takes 3hrs to get there...
Done Paris, Madrid, Prague..

Where would you suggest we could go - that is easy to get to.. and only about 2-3hrs travel time from either Gatwick, Heathrow or Eurotunnel

Happy to look at somewhere else in France... as only done that country once.. but dont know where!

Any ideas???

bear in mind if you go in January anywhere in northern Europe will quite possibly be under snow. Somewhere on the Spanish coast maybe? Barcelona? (Though even that had one bout of severe snow last winter.)

Barcelona - loads to do and see, though won't be particularly warm.

Why not Bruges, it is a lovely city, why don't you fancy it? Lille is fine or Paris, Eurotunnel stops at the door.
