My Grandad is, what I consider, very rich. Now though, because my Nan is in a home and he needs care it's going down. She doesn't even get a bus pass...don't know why. Although he pays for the care for both of them...£ 500 a week for her....£500 a month for him. He does feel it's unfair as he worked hard to make his money, and so did she...and he was lead to believe that his children would benefit from it.

Agree with craft, people with more than 2 (in my opinion 1) children should support their own children. I didn't get any help with my one, and when she wanted something extra I used to sell off my unwanted clothes. and I had to pay for all school books pens etc. My parents had 7 and we adopted 2 more and they supported us all financially and put the adopted's child allowance into bank accounts for when they grew up.
