My doctors surgery has an 0845 number. Does this mean he takes a cut from all the calls he receives?

Worst still some companies that use these numbers are actually receiving a cut of the phone call costs.

Just looked at the discussion forum. Looks as though the surgery does take a cut. Says it helps pay for the phone system......My ar$e...........
