sims custom content

haha, another sims 2 question!
you see when you download custom content and normally a little box comes up and you click 'install' and that's it, fine. well from one website i keep getting the blue box but it just says 'please doublie click a custom content' .. what do i do to get it onto my sims game!? it's really starting to bug me haha. cheers :)
