C S Lewis was a theologian, so the Chronicles of Narnia mirror the new testament pretty closely.
So Aslan (Jesus Christ), sacrifices himself to save Narnia from eternal winter and is then resurrected to do battle against the White Witch.

In the last battle, all that is good and worth saving in Narnia is translated into an eternal form, including all but one of the children and all the beloved residents of Narnia.....it doesn't say what happens to the baddies
