Osteopenia - no medication
5 Answers
I recently had a scan for osteoporosis. The technician showed me the results and I was clearly in the orange zone which is a sign of osteopenia. However having had my results at the doctors, apparently the consultant has said that it is normal.
I am a bit worried as I would have thought that prevention was better than cure and if I had some sort of medication I could stave off osteoporosis. Has anyone had something similar?
All advice welcome - thanks
