Japanese Beetle

Just found a beetle that I've never seen before (quite a few actually). It looks suspiciously like a Japanese Beetle but, according to the internet, this is not found in UK. I am down in Dorset and they really seem to like my roses. Has anyone else got them and, if so, are we supposed to tell anyone? I've also got Harlequin ladybirds and lily beetles so it seems that my garden is a haven for immigrants!

I live in Bournemouth Dorset also and haven`t noticed any myself and also no lily beetles this year, luckily.

I saw a grass hopper & stag beetle, not seen for a few years round here. I live in rural Windsor.
