Well red as long as there is a chance you will continue to hope. I lost a cat for 2 weeks once and one night she just cried at the top of her voice at the front door and ran in. Never found out where she'd been. All the best.
aw redhelen - sorry - I too had hoped. Have you checked with the local vets? If she was chipped (or if not) she might be reported or handed in by some kind person. Not that I want to mention it while you are still anxious, but when my Fizzy was run over, a kind person took her several streets away to the vet and because she was chipped, they were able to let me know what had happened. I feel for you.
