I was thinking of having a holiday in Spain. Does anyone know the price of fags and baccy in Spain. I was thinking of either Golden Virginia green or yellow or Ashford Gold. Help would be most appreciated.

Thankyou NoMercy I would appreciate that. Madmaggot, I was once in a position where I did not have 2 pennies to scratch together. Hard work and saving my money got me where i am now. If I want to spend it on fags it is my choice. I am not asking you to pay for them. Having said all that, I know some people are suffering in the recession. I suffered in the 80's recession. You pick yourself dust yourself off and start again.

They wen't up from 22.50 to 31.50 in 4 years.

The last time I bought a packet of 20 cigarettes they were 2 shillings and 9 pence (14p). Mind you, this was a couple of years ago, I suppose! The other thing is, where is all the money I must have saved since I gave them up?

Sorry micmak - this isn't helping to answer your question, but when I saw it. I couldn't believe the price of cigarettes nowaday.
