Windows & wont play powerpoint show.Tried with download for powerpoint still no play Help!

I assume you mean Windows 7...

Do you have PowerPoint installed? Or do you have at least the PowerPoint Viewer? If so, is the PowerPoint slideshow you're trying to view created by a later version of PowerPoint...?

I dowloaded the Older version of pp viewer.Windows 7 is my new laptop.My old XP worked ok on the older pp .Should I try download for latest version.Have you a link?Thanks.
