It will be before 1910 I think, as after then I am sure the wording changed to made in england,
does it have an anchor mark on it anywhere?

being as i come from the potteries i might be able to help...a lot of pottery manufacturers have a ''backstamp'' featuring a crown is youir figure of a little girl with red hair and pigtails beveridge???

Its a pretty young lady with a long red dress and a fur hat and muff I have been trying to research it for some time now but Google come up with some strange answers!!
does it not say the name of the manufacturer on the base beverige?? there were hundreds and hundreds of small pottery manufacturers here in stoke on trent in its hey day during the 50s and 60s and early 70s if its a clarice cliffe you are quids in lol [but i dont think she made figures]... it could be a mass produced figure by some obscure little back street ''pot bank'' it sounds interesting though...sadly all the pottery is now produced abroad...
And you can eliminate Doulton as it's not in my Charltons catalogue
Question Author
In My research tonight I think it could be Fenton China
Thank you all for your advice
i grew up in fenton beverige...ill ask some of the old uns in the pub lol
