Personal Injury compensation

I have taken legal action in respect of an accident that wasn't my fault. The other side have accepted full liablility which is fantastic. What I'd like to know is how is compensation and damages calculated? I can quantify the loss of earnings, hospital trips, medication etc, but what about the actual damages bit? I'd be grateful for any help. Thank you.

How, when, were what injuries were sustained and how long were you off work?

I ruptured my achilles tendon on an uneven floor. I was in plaster for 10 weeks and signed off work. My work could not accommodate flexible hours or lighter duties for me, so I resigned. 6 months on I haven't found another job and I still can't run properly or walk for a long period of time.

Did your firm say they were going to terminate your employment? I am not an expert but:

1) If your firm were going to try and sack you thats illegal.

2) If you quit under no pressure I don't think you have a leg to stand on.

Seriously, your lawyer should be able to explain what the amount of compensation might be.
