Hi, I'm off to Winchester for the weekend. Can anyone recommend any inexpensive places to eat?

I've not tried it but the Black Rat pub got a good review in the Times last weekend.

Alternatively the Wykeham Arms is worth a look although recent reviews have been mixed.

Alternatively there's a Hotel du Vin and a Bistro Blanc, both of which are nice but can't relly be described as inexpensive.
