35 down: the 14 accepted canonical books of the Old Testament: A-O-R-P-A. The obvious answer is APOCRYPHA; but surely this addition to the OT is not canonical. Can some Biblical expert elucidate?

i have checked a few dictionaries out
apocrypha
1, the 14 books included as an appendix to the old testament in the septuagint and the vulgate but not in the hebrew canon. they are not printed in the protestant versions of the bible
2, rc church another name for the pseudepigrapha
Apocrypha is correct

The book of the Apocrypha are recognized by the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox & Oriental Orthodox Churches as being part of scripture, but most Protestants do not recognize them
