funnygirl - often life isn't fair I am afraid, but you have the sentiment spot on!
Innit tho!!
you are quite right, football should be on a sports only channel! I am so sick of it,
But look at it like this during the football there is over acting like as in soaps so it can be all bad .Terrible voices .mumbling .looking at the cameras ..Getting over the top wages .Wonder they have not got a on footy soap about down and outs playing football and call it Streetenders .
But the story line is repeated every time. In the 'real world' of soaps you don't have to be bored by the whole production team coming on set before, during and after to bore you to death
ttfn, you are spot it should be here is the football - whistle - match - whistle here is the score, sorted.
football on a sports channel ONLY IF all the soaps are on a soaps channel

I don't mind a soap channel, in fact I wish there was one.
quite agree, a soap channel sounds good to me
There used to be Sky Soaps which showed episodes up to about 20years old. Take The High Road was great - the cliffhanger at the end of each episode never used to be more exciting than whether Effie would give the correct change in the village shop.

Does anybody remember that Spanish soap on BBC and a market one??
El Dorado, Albion Market ?
or Eldorado if you don't like spaces http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0133301/
yes I would go with a soap channel, so people who don't follow them wouldn't have to suffer, although in fairness I do watch them on catch up, so put blo@dy sports on catch up
It's not just the football and the endless chat about it before and afterwards, we are then subjected to that moron Corden shouting and yelling for another hour, and THEN, it's repeated the next day!!!!! Madness.
I enjoy Doctors while I'm having my lunch on ly to have it taken off for a month right in the middle of a good storyline!! Grr!!
