Name of a song

I'm looking for the name of a song! The only lyrics I know are 'Blinded by the lights' but all I can find is The Streets, which I know isn't the song I'm looking for! Quite an old 'classic' I suppose. I think I just saw it on an advert too.

Any ideas?

If the Manfred Mann version isnt the one you heard, ELO also did a song called 'Blinded By The Light' with a rather spectacular guitar solo halfway through it. Great tune.

Thought I knew my ELO songs, but I couldn't remember them doing 'Blinded by the light', then realised this is ELO Part 11 from their 'Moment of truth' album and it's called "So glad you said goodbye". You're right though Booldawg, great tune !
