When I take photographs with this 'phone they have thick white vertical lines either side of the frame, pretty rubbish really, is there anything I can do to remove them or is that as good as it gets?

Hi Ludwig, I think you may have it set for Portrait instead of Standard (which fills the full screen). When the camera is switched on, try the left and right buttons. My Nokia moves between standard, portrait, night and video by using the L and R keys.

Thanks for the reply Wak, but this model just changes from camera to video when using left and right buttons. The video though is full screen. I think I'm going to need a teenager to sort this out.

You're right, Ludwig, I've just been to the Nokia site and downloaded a PDF file of the manual for your phone and it's just camera and video although you can zoom the camera with the Up and Down buttons if that's any help.
