Its not that you were rubbish its because Germany were brilliant.

You were lulled into a false sense of security by your media.

I dont think your team had a chance even before they left for SA.

I feel for you all seriously BUT like ive said we're used to it so when we win its a bonus if we lose lts a chance for a p!ss up either way.

I don't mean you personally Cazz - I mean the media. Imagine if your national news was made in France, they got through to various sporting events, and every news broadcast was about how 'we are going to win, we are the best' etc - it'd get on your goat, wouldn't it?

unfortunatly that is the media for you, we dont all buy into their ideals, even now the daily mail is running a headline about the england match insinuating that the uruguan ref has helped out the germans, the most popular comments are along the lines of "we played like cr@p" because our opinions differ from the press.

tomorrow no one will mention the world cup ;)

Karen....you have hit the nail on the head.

The English ( not only in football) think that they are something special...they are not.
They think England is the only place to live.....it isn't.
They think the NHS is the best in the world.......it isn't.
When I qualified I was told that English training was the best.....it wasn't.
Criticise England and you are accused of "knocking it"........you are just telling the truth.

Good on ya cazz cos ive taken stick for being Scottish enjoying the World Cup-yeah we've had a few laughs but even my English pals have had a laugh !!
I even had Dot Hawkes saying so your anti the World Cup now are you when you drew with Algeria-its the WORLD Cup and England played a part.
They didnt play as a team -no-one to blame but them.
We admit when we're sh!te which is most of the time and thats why we as Scots enjoy the great game .

Dris .. I don't wish to be an elbow hole (thanks for that Dris) but unless you are referring to previous years I don't remember seeing Scotland at this years finals.

Thanks Cazzz ... I also give my all supporting my country's teams in the believe they may achieve something ... not "support" them in such a patronising manner the Scots have had to grow accustomed to. I will be the first to criticise a team when they perform poorly but I will not apologise for giving them my support until the end.
