Bookmarks on Google chrome

I have just changed my browser to Google chrome and am having difficulty accessing my bookmarks. I can add them alright but then cant find them! Any ideas?

From Chrome help:-

The bookmarks bar can be docked at the top of the browser window to let you easily access your bookmarks. To show, or dock, the bookmarks bar underneath the address bar, click the Tools menu and select Always show bookmarks bar. Select this option again if you want to hide the bookmarks bar. If undocked, you can always find the bar by opening the New Tab page.

To move a bookmark or bookmark folder on the bar, just click the item on the bookmarks bar and drag it to its new location.
