TV Props

Does anyone have any household items that are also used in TV programmes? I have the same placemats that are used on Gail McIntyres kitchen table in Coronation Street and also the same old fashioned round mirror that is in one of the rooms in Maxine and Ian's house in Shameless. My next door neighbour has the black mugs that are used in Emmerdale (can't remember if they are in the King household or the Wyldes). I look forward to hearing about your items.

I've just remembered that I also have the same duvet cover as Frank Gallagher has on his bed in Shameless only I have it in blue , Frank's is pink.

Now I have a load of these and they were in something on the tele the other day, but I'm blowed if I can remember what!!

Rita in 'The Kabin' wore a jumper last year with a Fox on it - I've got one identical we wore them on the same day.

When my daughter worked there, she was always saying "Ooh look what (whoever's) wearing ... that's from Next!"

LoftyLottie your link shows a plate on a stand and the plate has various furniture items on it that look like they are from around the 60s or 70s, I don't recall seeing them on tv but then I don't watch every programme.

I think it was on a BBC programme called 'Put you money where your mouth is' two experts buy and sell things to see who can make the most money for charity.

I forgot to say I have the same ivory coloured saucepans as the ones in the Wyldes kitchen.

Love those plates Lottie! The only time I'm likely to see my clothes on tv is when they show Pathé newsreels, lol.

The plates were late 50's. They were in a play I think.

Also seen a play recently with some of these which we had in the 70's and my son has inherited!!

Having now seen this link I think I will grab them back and sell em!!

I have loads of inherited vintage crockery from victorian onwards. Perhaps I should set up a market stall.

I was talking to Sophie about starting a "who has TV or movie props" thread a while back.
I have the street sign "Shaftesbury Avenue" from American Werewolf In London"
Had it for years. A lot of the stuff from the street/cinema set was "distributed" afterwards back then.
I also have an old crew-signed Red Arrows print identical to one on the wall somewhere in Emmerdale (pub maybe) Quite rare actually.

My sister used to have exactly the same transistor radio as someone on Corra a few years back, I think it was in the Battersby's house.
Or she did until I pinched it for work and it got knocked off a scaffold!
