Press ctrl+Alt+the up arrow.

This is a totally useless feature included in XP that only serves to confuse people.

Oh and you can also do ctrl+alt+down arrow to turn it upside down. Now if anyone can give me a reason why you would want to do such a thing, apart from playing a prank, please tell me. I would love to know!

It's nothing to do with XP, it's part of certain graphics drivers, the reason for it is some wide screen monitors can be rotated 90degrees to give a portrait orientation which can be handy for page designing. (Can't explain why anyone would ever want to rotate the screen by 180degrees though (other than as a prank))
